About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase market share in the maritime security and surveillance sector within Southeast Asia.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government contracts, private sector clients, and partnerships.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
2. Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the maritime security and surveillance sector.
Provide insights and recommendations to tailor services and solutions to regional market demands.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
4. Networking and Representation:
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and establish connections with potential clients.
Collaborate with local and regional industry associations and regulatory bodies.
5. Proposal Development and Negotiations:
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and bids tailored to client requirements.
Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and close deals.
6. Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align strategies and deliver client-centric solutions.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities to senior management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the maritime, defense, or surveillance sectors, strong knowledge of complex B to G sales cycles.
Strong understanding of the maritime sector, including regulations, stakeholders, and technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other Southeast Asian languages is an advantage.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
